    Xbox one X mic problems


    Hi. My mic doesn’t work on Xbox one X, it worked fine on my regular Xbox one, and I can hear audio perfectly fine. I’ve tried two headsets that are exactly the same, on three different controllers, and it still doesn’t pick up any audio from my mic.

    Low voice\singer track level RB3

    There isn't a mic sensitivity option in RB3 (believe me, I sorely miss it) and the X Y B buttons control the individual volumes of each mic. If you only have one plugged in, X is the button you use to adjust the volume for the 1st mic.

    Has this problem only just started occurring?

    WTF... Game Clip voice recording - Why is this not possible?

    When I record a game clip on the Xbox One X my voice is not recorded even though all my mic settings are set to on. I'm totally confounded as to why this is so, since my mic is working with other apps and game chat. Supposedly this feature is built into

    No. The Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S consoles do not support those type of mics.

    Both the Series X and Xbox One have never supported "just any USB mic". They do not work.

    Thx for ur response, but standard USB mics for Xbox one, PS4 or nintendo switch dont work on Xbox series x. I tested them...

    The only thing works fine is headphones + mic. But si not a good solution for me and karaoke games.

    It would be nice that Microsoft sold official microphones that work with Xbox series x.

    Day one update - Add the blueray option

    Xbox One comes with Kinect it can be used as a mic. If you don't want to use Kinect as a mic then buy a headset. I have no problem using Kinect as a mic.
