Discus and support Xbox one x mic not working.. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So my mic is not working.     Xbox one x mic not working..


    So my mic is not working. Everything shows that it is on I can hear the other party when they only talk but I cannot speak . I've watched YouTube videos and looked continuously online. My remote is fairly new and I've tried on other remotes and no luck. So I bought new headphones yesterday to see if that was the issue and nothing. I've updated my remote and restarted my Xbox and still wouldn't work. I've messed with the setting and privacy and nothing either.. what else can I do?

    Compatible mic for Xbox series X

    Both the Series X and Xbox One have never supported "just any USB mic". They do not work.

    Thx for ur response, but standard USB mics for Xbox one, PS4 or nintendo switch dont work on Xbox series x. I tested them...

    The only thing works fine is headphones + mic. But si not a good solution for me and karaoke games.

    It would be nice that Microsoft sold official microphones that work with Xbox series x.

    WTF... Game Clip voice recording - Why is this not possible?

    When I record a game clip on the Xbox One X my voice is not recorded even though all my mic settings are set to on. I'm totally confounded as to why this is so, since my mic is working with other apps and game chat. Supposedly this feature is built into

    yes, it registers that the headset is there, and I can hear audio through it. In games it even shows the little "mic" symbol next to my avatar or name, but when I talk it doesn't pick it up. How do I assign the headset to the profile? I have the controller
    assigned, but I don't think I've assigned the headset.

    try unpluging the mic and any adaptors if that does not work go to settings>Audio>and turn it off and back on
