    Xbox one X mic monitoring.


    I just bought Beexcellent Stereo Surrounding Bass Gaming Headphones, I can hear the game just fine and I can also hear my friends. What I cannot hear is my own voice so I end up screaming all the time.

    My mic monitoring is way up but I still cannot hear my own voice. How can I get that to work?

    Turtle Beach just came out with a completely wireless surround sound headset with mic monitoring for the Xbox One Stealth 500 X. Goes for $230.

    Stereo Headset Adapter Mic Monitoring

    If you use the adapter from xbox you will not be able to have mic monitoring. you can buy an adapter from turtle beach that allows mic monitoring. Xbox is being really dumb not letting people use mic monitoring with the xbox adapters

    Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you're unable to hear your own voice thru your headset. I have a question are your friends able to hear you? As well can you try lowering the mic monitoring to see if that might help
    fix the issue. I just want to know more of the issue to better assist you. Here are a couple links to troubleshooting steps that I feel may assist you. Please let us know if these helped you.

    i've been playing Halo 5 with my friends, they can hear me just fine and I can hear them too.

    Everything works perfectly no echo or anything but I cannot hear my own voice.

    I've tried mic monitoring low and high and still cannot hear myself.

    Hello Moogie!

    We understand that there seems to be an issue with the Mic Monitoring in the party chat.

    This feature should be the adjustable option you referenced, although this does also depend on the headset having the feature on its own. In this case, if the adjustment for mic monitoring does not assist,
    check to see if mic monitoring is available for the headset.

    Also, after adjusting this setting, attempt to restart the console:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
      Note Pressing the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Restart console.
    4. Select Yes to confirm.
    Give this a shot, and let us know how it goes.
