Discus and support Xbox One X manual network settings in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a bran new xbox one x, in the initial setup I need to set up wired static IP, subnet, gateway and DNS.     Xbox One X manual network settings


    I have a bran new xbox one x, in the initial setup I need to set up wired static IP, subnet, gateway and DNS.

    I am going into wired mode, manual set up and entering all the network information

    IP 192.168.2.105

    Subnet 255.255.255.0

    Gateway 192.168.2.10

    DNS1 212.143.0.0

    DNS2 194.90.0.1

    As I have done many times in my home LAN to other objects.

    I also verified that I do not have an IP conflict as I run a list with all my network objects.

    When I am done after each entry I press enter and go to the next entry.

    At the end I expected to see the above entries save, however, they do not save for some reason and I see the default settings.

    I have done so at list 5 times only to arrive to the same result.

    Why doesn't it save my entries and what am I missing?

    Xbox does not automatically connect to LIVE?

    Same issue on my X-Box for ages! I had good luck when I manually set a static DNS server in the Xbox's network configuration!

    On your Xbox One.

    Go to Settings

    Network

    Network Settings

    Advanced Network Settings.

    Then go to DNS Servers and set it to Manual.

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

    Try and see if that works.

    Try manual DNS Settings. On your xbox, go to Settings, System, Network Settings, Wired- or Wireless -Network, Configure Network, DNS Settings. Choose manual. Select Primary DNS Server and type in: 192.168.2.1
