    Xbox One X losing WiFi connection sooner and sooner


    Upgraded orginal Xbox One one week ago. This new Xbox One X (white edition) has been losing connection to my wifi sooner and sooner after I either restart or readd my home wifi. It is the only device in my house that does this. My original Xbox One didnt
    have this problem and neither does my current Xbox 360 slim. I’ve completed hard reset of modem and router. But the disconnects happen sooner and sooner. My windows ten PC, ipad, iphones, windows 10 laptop and TVs have no problems. Do I need to return this?
    I know that others have mentioned problems but I cant even download the Fallout 76 beta that came with this edition despite it downloading at about 76 Mb/s because after about 15 minutes it loses connection. So i know i wont be able to play the online only
    game when it releases now either.

    WiFi issues with the X

    I seem to have a wifi problem on my Xbox one X. (I have the lastest update btw) I’m always connected to Xbox live, but then as soon as I play GoW4 multiplayer, I tend to lose connection to WiFi and would have to reconnect the WiFi. Could this be that my
    router needs to be closer?

    Xbox One WiFi problem

    I keep my Xbox One hooked to the Internet wirelessly but lately, the One keeps "losing" the WiFi info. Does anyone know why this is? I know it's not the WiFi because my laptop and desktop never lose their Internet connection.

    Thanks for your post. It's recommended to try a soft factory reset to attempt to correct this issue here's an article on how to do so:

    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One     Be sure to select Reset and keep my games & apps
    also, keep your Microsoft Account information available because you will be required to sign back into your account after the reset.

    Did not work. I changed my setting to that stand by mode instead of full shut off when “turning off” and for some reason its been working fine. I hope MS adresses this soon.
