Xbox one x losing nat with reboot

Hi guys it is morning in germany.

I had the same problem this morning and I saw that the dns Info was 0.0.0.0 then I went to the advanced settings and pressed automatic and the box was online. After that I put in the IP of my router in the manual tab. Maybe that was the problem.

Is it possible to put in microsoft or google dns servers?

 

You shouldn't have to alter the IP for the default gateway, as long as you've set your console's networking settings to "automatic" (DHCP enabled). This information is included in the offer packets from the DHCP server.

Yes! It is possible to use Google open DNS, or Cloudflare, or any other DNS provider for that matter.

 

Yeah I should not, but the X is not working as intended!

The total randomness continues. Today I could not connect to XBL and I tried the workaround with the DNS and it did not work. No DNS Server was found 0.0.0.0. Then I unplugged the LAN Cable and connected to my WiFi, did not work either. Then I clicked on
DNS automatic and suddenly I was connected and had a open NAT. Then I plugged in the LAN cable and I got the same result.

Lets try something different while this situation is very unique. Sorry for all the frustration, I run multiple consoles in my house from all Xbox I would be lost if this was going on. But lets go to settings>network>network settings>advanced settings> alt
mac address> clear and restart. See if this will help out any. If anything after this I would contact your Internet service provider something is causing issues with the X console. Most likely to do in the router being we literally have had you try all the
troubleshooting.

Please try doing refreshing the mac Address:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Advanced Settings.
7. Select Alternate Mac Address
8. Select Clear
9. Select Restart

If the issue continues please try to set the DNS to manual, and see if that will fix the network issue.

Go to settings:

1. Network

2. Network settings

3. Advanced settings

4. DNS settings> manual

5. set Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1

6. set Secondary DNS to 1.0.0.1

7. Test all networks> then test your content/games/chats/etc.

you can also try the Google DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4)

Please le me know if that works.

 

I did clear the MAC adress Monday and after that I was able to connect to my WiFi. This Morning my Xbox did connect without any help to the router and it looks fine.

I will trythe router manufacturer and the my ISP or I change my modem

I got my answer from the provider. He is not restricting anything. Due to the randomness the Modem/Reouter seems to be the Problem in the System. I will get one from another manufacturer and will be back with an update
