    Xbox One X losing connection


    Hello,

    I recently purchased an Xbox One X. Ever since then, I have disconnected from Live for like 10 seconds and then I reconnect. If I am playing Call of Duty for example, I will disconnect from the game, the party. Ten seconds or so later I can connect back
    to Live and everything is fine again. I have to restart the game for it to realize I am connected back to Live again as well. It happens at least once or twice a week. I never had an issue with my 360. I bought new Ethernet cables, maybe thinking that was
    the issue, but it still happens.

    Does anybody else have an issue with this? If so, have you found any solutions.

    I have been having the same issues, bought a new xbox one X and have been losing connection randomly, never lost connection before with the normal xbox one. When I lose connection it will sometimes say Teredo error or upnp connection error. Totally not
    fun, I'm considering buying a new router but if it's the consoles fault I dont know what I'll do. I have already swapped my xbox one X out with another xbox one x from gamestop because I thought the first one was faulty and this did not stop the connection
    issue.

    Thank you for responding. I have checked it, every time I do, it shows it as Open. Do you think it could be switching to Strict and then right back to Open?

    I gave your suggestion a try and it did not workout in the long run. It did work in the beginning, but I lost connection twice within a 15-20 timeframe. Do you have any other suggestions or ideas?

    Have you run the Test Network option under Settings?

    Does it report back the download and upload speeds required for Online and what you expect from your ISP?

    Your description sounds like a intermittant line fault that your ISP may have to investigate.
