    Xbox One X Lag


    So I had the original xbox one for years then decided it was time to "upgrade" and get a one x. All my time with my original xbox one I never encountered this issue. Once I got my one x I noticed small lag spikes first in Rainbow Six Siege, then Fortnite,
    most recently with Madden 19. Going back on my original xbox and playing these games. So this is what happens, take R6 for example, I will be moving along then hear someone around a corner so I slow down crouch walk slowly and then right when I get around
    the corner and see them and start shooting them the game suddenly lags my gun continues to shoot but I can't move or look a different way. this occurs for about 2-3 seconds, once it unfreezes I am usually dead. It also occurs outside of gunfights such as just
    running outside, but the example was just to show how inconvenient it gets. This happens consistently maybe like once every 2-3 minutes or so. So here is what I have done to troubleshoot.

    -Put up game data to watch ping in R6 shows consistent 9-13 ping even during these game freezes

    -Set up original xbox right next to the xbox one and played on that for an hour using the same wifi network

    -Tried switching from 5ghz wifi to the 2.4ghz channel

    -Used DMZ host for xbox ip address

    -Ran network stats on both xbox stats are similar on both and are as follows:

    -72.82 mbps download

    -4.33 mbps upload

    -1% Packet loss

    - Latency 59 ms

    - Wireless Strength 96%

    -NAT type is Open

    -Factory reset the one x and have same issue

    Nothing has seemed to fix this at all, I am very tech savvy and can only assume that this is an issue with the wifi card on the one x. I am open to any suggestions on how to fix this issue, I have tried to hardwire my xbox and that seemed to work however
    the ethernet port on the xbox is not broken and the clip piece seems to have broke off so it wont stay in the slot anymore so I am forced to either drive 2 hours to a microsoft storeand hope they fix it and have an ethernet cord draped across my house, or
    fix this wifi issue.

    The new WWII COD is amazing! But it has its problems ...

    I can't even finish a match it is so laggy. I dont think the lag was as bad with my xbox. the xbox one x is horrible with lag.

    Are you using wifi or wired connection?

    Xbox X stuttering/Lag

    I am on my second Xbox One X because of this. My Xbox One works fine with all games. If I plug in the X every game I have is stuttering and lagging.

    Have you found any fixes for this yet?
    Same here, try this on the my game menu, move from one selection to the next. This simple action lags, then for sure in a game we are experiencing issues.
