    Xbox one x lag issues, server connection issues


    Been having issues with lag on Overwatch and many other online games with the xbox one x, to the point it is unplayable. Disconnecting the internet through settings and reconnecting seems to momentarily solve the issue, but after about two or three matches
    the lag returns. On top of this, I have issues connecting to the game servers or it doesn't properly sync my saved data. The lag is present only on my xbox one x, and my xbox one and other devices have no issues what so ever.

    Just wondering if there is a fix or any word on this at all

    Call of Duty: Ghosts will have dedicated servers

    Quite honestly there can still be lag. Dedicated servers dont typically negate lag issues. However,there will
    be no more host advantage and host dashboards. Your connection will determine if you lag or not.

    What Lag issues? I have no lag issues at all. The game runs super smooth for my friends and myself. Try your server browser. If it's not your server browser, you probably need to open up more ports. If you are having connections troubles now....you
    will most likely have a worse connection in MW3... since they are not using dedicated servers.

    Same here. For several days I have been having issues with about half the matches I play on overwatch for the xbox one x. I am getting way higher than normal pings causing issues during games.

    There are a few issue pertaining to this.

    One is to make sure your region listed is correct.

    Second is that as the beta is ending MS is converting to local currency, as most Beta testers have already been converted. So the issue might be that. The conversion might be causing issues in your area.

    Third is that there might be a lag issue due to the update. If you live in a heavy populated area with many xbox users while trying to access the marketplace. The issue might be lag, causing your connection to time out due to packet loss. As a result the
    secure server will dump the connection causing the error (cannot not connect or the marketplace is unavailable) or error code. If the purchase hangs and does not process, it is likely a server lag issue due to the update. In that case just try at a later time,
    not primetime.

    Yeh cloud. I get about 50ms on Aussie servers and still get lag. I'm starting to think this has more to do with xbox live than my connection. I have bf4 on xbox one and on PC. I have no lag issues at all on PC yet on xbox one I always experience lag. Even
    on Aussie servers on both. If I experience no lag on PC then it shouldn't lag on xbox either. I get about 25 to 30ms on pc and 50 to 60ms on xbox. Shouldn't be that noticeable, but I experience huge lag on xbox for some reason. Bit strange!!

    some of the mods you think you see are really nothing more than lagging from connections. i've only run into 1 real mod and it was some one using the god cheat. ran into that one twice now and it wasn't lag. just couldn't kill him/her no matter what was
    used! remember the connection issue, it's a huge issue with the server.
