    Xbox One X Kinect Adapter


    Retails here for $39.99, but everyone is out of stock, other than the resellers at high prices.

    For most things my disability is completely invisible. I tend to hide it pretty well since I can function for the most part. It just affects fine motor skill stuff mostly, and a few gross motor skills as well. No driving for me ever due to the larger leg and
    arm jerks that happen sometimes, but almost anything else I can do. All in all I've considered myself fortunate given the number of major seizures I had in early childhood. It could have been much worse.

    The big thing for the last couple years has been my fingers. They used to not be as affected, but in the last few years it's gotten harder to type and operate controllers when the issue strikes.

    News about the Kinect adapter as of yesterday. And it's not good news if you haven't got an adapter.

    Microsoft discontinues Xbox One Kinect adapter

    I have just purchased one for £119 including postage. The price of these adapters will sky rocket even further. May I suggest People buy one Now for the £120 mark where they can find them or else that it, or pay even sillier prices for it.

    Kinect Support for XBox One X

    The Kinect will work on the Xbox One X. It just needs the adapter. Assuming it's the right adapter, then it should work fine with Kinect games and voice commands.

    The Kinect is definitely not built into the Xbox One S or X. That saleman was misinformed.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?

    Hi milter,

    No problem! To answer your second question, yes the power adapter is compatible for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 and is the only Kinect adapter available. You can use the adapter to connect a Kinect for Xbox One to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One
    X or you can use the adapter to connect either a Kinect for Xbox One or Kinect for Windows v2 to a Windows 10 PC.
