We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the Xbox One X console's inability to stay connected to the home network, and only works after restarting the modem.

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
console, Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Before doing the soft factory reset, you can also choose to change the power mode from instant-on to energy saving, doing a power cycle on the console, and then upon turning the console on again, switch the power mode back to instant-on.

Non of that worked at all, the only thing that worked for me was to set the power mode to "Energy Saving" permanently, not the fix I wanted but who cares, thanks for your time!

My xbox started running into issues after using instant on for awhile. I switched it to energy saver and havent had those issues since. It could be worth not using instant on

Yeah, you were right, "Instant-On" was causing the problem, the only fix was to set de power mode back to "Energy Saving", no more auto updates
