Xbox One X keeps disconnecting with WiFi

Same thing is happening to me. Im getting super annoyed! I pay to much money to be having this kick me out of my games all the time. Someone please help.

 

I have the same problem on my one x it's been happening since I got it wired and wireless playing any game honestly and ofcourse Microsoft has no fix whatsoever on the so called best console on the market,

 

I'm also having an issue with WiFi disconnecting on my One X. I've searched and found many posts and various forum threads on this issue and it seems to only be on the One X. Some are saying switching to a wired connection helped, but the majority are
saying they still get issues through an Ethernet connection so I really don't want to have to spend the extra money to get an extra, longer Ethernet cable to only be faced with this issue there as well. I've also seen so many posts stating that people have
returned their One X for a new one and still have the exact same issue, so why go through the trouble of getting a replacement when I will most likely be faced with the same issue on another One X? This is unacceptable for a console that so many people have
spent $500 on. I, as many others have stated, know it's definitely not an issue with my WiFi or ISP but with the One X itself in some way (whether it be through it's wireless hardware or software). Instead of focusing on dashboard updates like being able to
create Avatars, they need to focus on fixes for wide spread issues like this that so many loyal customers are having to deal with. It is an issue that frustratingly hinders the experience of the consumer.

 

I would agree with that. My wifi commectivity seemed to really be an issue after the Avatar update.

This might be a silly question, but since it is brand new have you checked for system updates? Honestly a lot of times stuff like this is fixed through updates pushed out by MS.

 

In a recent update over at Xbox Wire it seems this is a known issue and a fix is being tested by the Delta and Alpha rings. Hopefully it gets resolved and rolled out to the public soon.

 

Hopefully because it's getting extremely annoying when I can't play a game for half an hour without this happening

 

Have you tried deleting the mac address and let it connect again?

 

It happens on my one s as well and it happens multiple times within an hour no. Matter how long I play it for its very irritating
