Xbox One X - Keeps booting after sleep in 640X480

I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I bought brand new 4K 18gbps cables for all my equipment. I reset my Xbox, my AV Receiver and my TV ( factory )

I have even tried the beta version of the Xbox firmware. Yet consistently if my Xbox has been asleep overnight it will boot at 640X480. I have to do a full reboot of the Xbox and everything is fine. HDMI CEC is enabled, although I know it does not work for
Xbox.

1. Sony XE90 TV
2. Sony STR-DH1080 Receiver
3. PS4 Pro ( no issues )
4. Sky Q ( no issues )
5. Apple TV 3 ( no issues )
6. Enhanced HDMI enabled on AV receiver and TV.

Only thing I can think of is my Xbox is faulty. I am loathe to take it back, because it takes bloody ages to install all my games. Last time it took 3 days as the downloads are so big. I have an external drive which saves some time.

Has anyone else seen this issue? It is driving me to insanity!

Stuck in 640x480

Same issue. Support chat did nothing for me. Xbox One X here. Maybe try a display reset but it automatically resets you in 640x480 witch is the only way I get visual now.

This only applies to connections between the Xbox and my TV. The problem is the streaming to a remote computer. MY TV display is fine.

 

Do you get the full resolution when you plug it in directly to the TV, instead of through the AV receiver? The Xbox One would boot in 480p if it's not properly getting the EDID from the TV (data from the TV that tells the Xbox its
supported resolutions and other specs). I'm wondering if the AV receiver is interfering with that.
