    Xbox One X keep flashing black screen


    I am randomly seeing my Xbox One X flash to a black screen. This is very annoying.

    I have tried many things to fix this but with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

    I have done a hard reset.

    Unplugged and let it sit of a couple hours.

    Changed out HDMI cable.

    Tried a different monitor / TV

    Reset xbox all but profiles and games

    Tried different xbox video settings

    This happened out of the blue and nothing had changed.

    Hey there, Pema! We are currently still investigating the black screen flashes. The snowy/static screen and HDCP errors were the ones resolved recently. Please keep an eye on that thread for updates on the black screen flashes! :)

    Turn off everything and restart in this order.

    First the TV then AVR, if using, and last the console.

    While you have turned off the console, remove the power cord for a few minutes, then restore power and follow the restart sequence above.

    I would do that. I have no idea how to actually get someone on the phone or in chat. Nothing I try gets me an real person. The site is terrible.

    Thank you for using the forums if the above answers do not help please try changing the hdmi port your currently using as i had this problem myself and it wasnt a issue with the xbox it turned out to be a issue with the hdmi port on the back of my tv
