    Xbox One X just randomly full shutdown, Beta insider


    playing wrc 8 and while in between loading career there was sound drop outs and shutdown. Turned back on and booted ok with no errors.

    console is cool so its not heat issue. i am on beta insider any ideas

    Xbox One turns on and then just goes to an all black screen

    This is happening to me , but I'm in the insider's. It's a black screen but if I hold the xbox button it dose show the option to shutdown or restart. If I back out of it my home screen shows. Strange one . 🤔
    I'm in ASA insiders, and find it's better to do a Full shutdown after an update,

    (2-3 a week). I also have Energy save mode not Instant on and do the updates manually.

    It's good practice to do a Full shutdown at least once a week if you use Instant on, imo.

    You can't go online because EA have shutdown the beta because the full games out

    When does the xbox one x get the avatar editor update?

    Is her One S enrolled in the Insider Program? She may not be but if the console was pre owned by someone who is in the insider program and the avatar beta app is installed, she will have it.

    Xbox One original, Xbox One S and Xbox One X all can install the avatar beta app, it is not console specific. Check the Insider Hub App and enroll if it shows up for your ring.

    Hi Brad, sorry for the confusion... I was in the Insider Program on my old console, but am NOT on this new Xbox One X console I just got. So I have the regular Xbox Software and not the Beta.
