Xbox one X issue, worked and then didn’t after update

So my brother in law passed away 3 months ago and I just turned his Xbox on yesterday and it said there was an update so I allowed it to do its thing and then when it was complete about 20 minutes later it started freezing and shut off. Tried hard resets and both wiping options with no success so I tried the offline operating system update and it keeps saying there is an issue. And as of now it is not sending a video signal to my tv, have tried different cables etc, it turns on for about 20 seconds or so and then shuts off. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
