    Xbox ONE X I can not send the console to the repair service. My console has not been repaired


    I gave the console back to the repair service once. Microsoft's technicians again restored the factory settings on the console, which I did several times. I wrote in the letter attached to the sent package that the factory settings, instal the dashboard
    again does not help, because in my opinion there are bad sectors on the disk.

    Hello,

    If you requested a repair for your console you would need to send the complete unit in, once it's repaired they send it back. It's not possible to do a cross shipping because they actually try and repair the console that you currently have and send it back.
    They also do not send you a replacement console in the time that your console is being repaired.

    If this is an issue with your power supply (since your title says power supply...) you can always purchase a new one from the Microsoft Repair site
    here, for the Xbox 360 S they run about $35 USD, so you can have a new one while your old one is being repaired if that is indeed the case.

    I'm afraid you have two options. One: Have the console repaired by a third party repairer. Two: Purchase a new console. Microsoft will not repair a console that has been opened/tampered with.

    I don't think this is hard drive issue. The video of the Forza game that has the road disappear under the car, was interesting, as I had this issue with my first Xbox One console back in 2013-2014. I also had issues with games
    crashing and console crashes/lock ups. Some games would work for a while, then either totally fail or produce an error message, like the one above.

    I had three replacement machines from MS, however, it wasn't the console that was creating the fault, it was actually a power issue. As I don't have enough plugs, I plug some of my devices into a power strip, like

    this one
    . It turns out, one of my power strips was faulty, it wasn't providing the correct voltage to the console. This caused my console some very unusual behaviour, up to the point where the console would no longer power on.

    The third replacement was plugged directly to the wall, after which, I didn't have further problems.

    The strip was definitely faulty, later on it damaged my laptop charger!

    If you haven't done so already, check how your console is connected to the power. Try plugging the console directly into the wall. If you can only use a power strip, change it. Do not use one with any built in Surge Protection either, as this can also cause
    issues - the Xbox One power supply is already surge protected.

    link film. I also changed the power cable,

    but it did not help. Power and voltage are correct in the apartment.

    I take it that the console wasn't plugged directly into the wall when the issues first occurred though? Even if you plug the console into the wall outlet now, it doesn't mean it will now work. I still had to have my console replaced as the damage had already
    been done.

    Since the repair centre haven't done anything with it, other than a system restore, your best - and fastest - way to get your issue resolved is to send the console back via an advanced exchange. They will put a holding charge on your payment card for the cost
    of the replacement and send you a replacement console. All you need to do is return your faulty console. When the faulty console is received, the charge for the replacement console will be removed from your payment card. I don't believe they charge for
    the shipping, at least they didn't in the United Kingdom. As long as you return the faulty time within the specified time frame (14 days), you will not be charged for the replacement under warranty.

    To check if you are eligible, you'll need to call support.

    Yes I used the advanced exchange, but at the beginning I had connected my console to electric socket on the wall, the problems were from the beginning.

    Mine as well, goes on support after Christmas, and back 15 days after, the problem was freeze, black screen and Erroe Exxxxxxxx when switch on. (tried to do recovery ecc.. many times not working)

    They send me back my one x but afre a week, same problem again, today i will send the one x to the support again, ridiculous.

    Hope they will solve the problem.

    By the way, bought on day one, and 2 times in Germany for the support, 30 days without the console...

    So I'll get a new console and send back the old one.

    Now I am waiting, but this week the console should be in my home, I think I will not have problems anymore, because I'm 3 weeks without a console.......

  12. Yeah, they told me about the exchange service, but it's ridiculous that they charge me money to have a working console...

    The customer girl told me that at the second time you send a console back to the support, they have to give you another, hope so but i'm quite sure that i will recive back the same unit...

    And i'll get really mad.
