    Xbox One X (home xbox) Will not Display Purchased Games Offline


    Hey everyone!

    I live in Puerto Rico, and e recently had an island-wide power outage that lasted quite a few days. No internet. My Xbox One X is designated as "Home" Xbox. Yet, I was unable to see all my purchased games (installed and not installed) from the "My Apps and
    Games" menu. I could not play anything except my disc game and the last 2 games I had played before since they show on the Home screen.

    As soon as power and internet were restored, games were all back there. I even tried putting my xbox offline after internet was restored, to see whether I would see my games or not. Negative...

    Any advice? Would like to have access to my games even when there is no internet. (We have a power generator.)

    Hi Jmo,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand trying to play games offline. With the power outage, were you able to go to network settings and go offline? If not, this could be the cause. As the console is still trying to connect online. To change the setting
    you need to be connected to the internet. If you can try a mobile hotspot to connect just to change settings. Also not: any game pass games you will not be able to play offline as they need connection to know where the licenses are.

    Just turned on Xbox, Went offline on Network settings. It showed the installed games. But went and turned it off, then waited 5 minutes, and turned it back on. Signed in (still offline). And no games on the same installed tab. Same problem as when power
    outage....

    Thanks, Brad! I will try that! Although I did try to go offline with electricity, and it doesn't show the games. I thought it was strange. I have been able to play my games before on other xboxes I have owned.

    Also, they were purchased games. Do not have game pass.

    Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?
    No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox

    No games disk or digital show installed under the games library offline. I've set it as home and is the only xbox one x I've owned.
