Discus and support -XBox one X- HDR at 1080p on FHD monitor in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hello is it possible to activate HDR at 1080p?     is it possible to activate HDR at 1080p?
    I chose an FHD hdr monitor because despite Xbox one x supports 4k, many games give the best at 1080p.
    The XBOX gives me the possibility to activate HDR in the options, however, not having the 4k, it does not show me contents in HDR.
    It is stupid that the Xbox does not give the possibility to play in HDR on an FHD monitor, I also have the PS4 Pro and HDR at 1080p works perfectly, giving me excellent results.
    How I can tell microsoft to solve this problem like sony did with PS4 pro?

    I think it's the console, because even if it makes me select HDR, being an HDR TV, in the summary it signals me that games will not support this function (in the attached images in Italian it is written as described). Thanks to Gamepass I have tried many
    games that support HDR but nothing, I have also tried some that I have already played on PS4 pro with HDR perfectly working, but nothing.

    The xbox has auto feature to best optimize the console with the monitor/tv. However as you explained you can edit those settings. If you have selected HDR to be on it should show items that have that ability. It could be the game doesn't support 1080p
    HDR and not necessarily the console.

    Yes, you can use the Xbox One S or X on 1080p with HDR!

    Now i never see a 1080p with HDR, but on monitors it suppose to work.

    xbox one s can't support FHD / QHD HDR

    Xbox one s only supports HDR game in UHD 4K2K 60Hz Timing.

    As a result, there is a number of of FHD / QHD displays that suppot HDR can't turn on HDR in Xbox one s.

    It should also support FUD / QHD HDR for better compatibility.

    Suggest xbox developer to consider to support gaming HDR with 1080p @50/60 hz and 1440p @50/50 hz timings.
    Additionally, lots of VESA DPM DisplayHDR Displays are 1080P.
