xbox one x hdmi port not working reference needed for repair ????

hi I've had the HDMI port fail I've tried all steps and tried the Xbox with different TV's and hd leads but no luck

now I've been told to return it to Argos as its to do with them but Argos said I will need a reference number for the problem from Microsoft how would I get this if chat and phone is not available for this service

make sure that he HDMI is plugged into the port that is right next to the power supply

Nope still wont give me a phone number just want a reference its very frustrating

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about how to receive a reference number for inquiry.

If you are selecting the Hardware & networking category, you should be able to choose the issue
I need help setting up my network. This should give you the option to request a call.

There are agent that are universally skilled in all aspects, but this should get you into an area where you should get someone that will be able to help you for this matter.

Additionally , you can always
create a service order for your device on your own if you prefer.

that won't work, that port is for incoming signal only, as the original xbox one has been discontinued you would need to take to a local repair shop to have the hdmi port replaced.
