    Hya everyone!

Like the title states, I have an on-going issue with my One X that started, funnily enough, right when they announced the new consoles. This started as soon as the new update rolled out, the one with the new menu.

Every 2-3 days I'm having to restore the console to its factory settings. The process is a bit lengthy as I have to go through https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/system-update-solution/startup-error

After restoring, everything works perfect. Sometimes, I get update/installation issues like giving me 'Something went wrong' during download/install and I have to retry couple of times.

My first culprit would be the HDD, but why would it work fine 2-3 days and then bam! Have to restore the mofo.

Has anyone experienced something like this before? I don't mind replacing the HDD, but I don't want to buy one and then have the same issues.

    Some info:

    - 2 year old xbox

    - first 1 year haven't really used it, couple of hours a month at most. I've got a PS that I used daily.

    - since Warzone got released I got into CoD again and I've been using it daily since

^ don't know if it matters, but thought I would give it a mention.

If I have to replace the HDD, is there anything specific I should get? I've got a Plex NAS with about 100TB I could borrow a HDD from.

    Thanks!

Sorry to hear that you have issues with your external hdds. Personally I never run into any issues with all 3 hdds I have connected with my Xbox One X. They where detected, formated and work as they should.
