Xbox One X Having Power Issues

Hi all,

I recently got my Xbox One X serviced for display issues. They sent it back and apparently nothing was wrong with it (doubtful about that now). So, I went to turn it on earlier today, and I have been having trouble. I press the power button, I hear the chime,
the light comes on, five seconds later, power off chime and the console turns off. I've switched outlets, tried to get into the troubleshoot mode, have tried power cycling (console doesn't even stay on long enough to do so) and left my console unplugged for
hours, plugging in and trying again to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it? I don't want to go through servicing again and I'd rather get a new console from Microsoft or at this point switch consoles. I have had a One S as
well for years and have experienced no problems with it. Three months with the X and it has had serious problems on two occasions now.

Two Xbox Ones

I have two Xbox consoles in my living room. An Xbox one X and a regular Xbox one. If the Xbox One is turned on and then I turn on the Xbox One X it will power off the other console. Any ideas on what to check to resolve this issue?

 

Xbox One X power on issues

After running my Xbox One X. for 12 hours with no activity in use, I have found no extreme heat changes. I will be leaving it on however to see if there is anything different overnight. With the addition of about 4 hours game-play to boot. If I DO NOT see
any changes still... I will have to guess that its a software issue for the Instant-On feature within the system's OS.

 

Here is what I get, not sure if there is sound but all it would be is the chime.

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems. If you have not tried this I would suggest going through the "Xbox One console won't turn on"
support article. If you are still unable to get the console running even after going through the troubleshooting we would advise you send it in for a repair. You can always go over to the

Device Support Website to set up the repair order.

I've tried the things in that article and have gotten nothing. As I said I just got my console back from being "serviced" about a week ago. I think there have to be other options at this point, more so I feel a $500 console should not be having problems
like this back to back.
