Bear with me here. We got our Xbox one X 2 days after launch. We were super excited, rushed home and started getting it set up. We couldn't install the first update to finish set up. Got error code after error code. After about 4 hours of attempted set up,
we contacted Microsoft, and they offered to switch the console for us. Great! No problem!

New console arrives about a week later, ship back the old one. Set up new console, no problem. We are having issues with the new console now. Just little hiccups like games freezing. I'm having the most issues with Destiny 2. Bought a digital copy, and had
major issues getting it installed. Installation kept pausing. Finally, after many hours of installation, with pausing and restarting download, it's good to go. I played for 20 minutes. Game froze. Error code came up the the file was corrupted and we should
reinstall. Great. Uninstalled, reinstalled with the same pausing during installation. Finally got the game going again. Played for a few hours, and game froze out with the same currupted file error. Figured I would try to restart console after getting back
to the main screen, because maybe a restart would clear cache and it might work. I just turned the console back on, and now I'm getting and error code E200. It's frozen so I can't select any options on the screen. So, normally I would unplug it when this happens,
    because it's happened before.

At this point I am so frustrated that this is the second system I've had, and it's not working. Any one else about to just rage quit their X? Am I doing something wrong? I'm not particularly tech savvy. Im trying to find help posts for the X, but I don't
know if you've noticed, Google searching "Xbox one X" only brings up info on Xbox one. Help meeeeee.

    :)

My xbox 360 has been giving me problems?

Sorry to hear it. You have two choices here. You could either give support a call and set up a repair of the console ( you would need to pay for this as the console is out of warranty) or see about purchasing a newer console.

  3. My xbox 360 has been giving me problems?

I've got a 250GB xbox 360 E and it's been giving me problems since weeks.I've done a test many times which consists in turning on and off the console and I noticed that whenever I turn off the console sometimes the light on the power supply stays green instead
of turning orange which makes my xbox turn on by itself again a while later and that's when I have to press the power button again so that it can turn off.On the other hand,I've noticed many times that the green light on the power supply delays in turning
    orange,too.

So what do you think the problem is?

I don't know what to do given the fact that my xbox is out of warranty and it's been 2 years since I bought it.

any advice, help or opinion will be really appreciated.

Xbox one X has been giving me nothing but problems.

If you haven't already, try these steps - Error E200 | Xbox One Error

All versions of the One work the same. So any solutions that would work for the original One will also work for the One S and One X. That's why a lot of support pages only list it as being for the Xbox One.

  5. Do what Smwutches has commented, as they have said all consoles on the Xbox One Family run the same software, some consoles are just more capable than others.

My Xbox X has been giving me a lot of problems.

Hi, Noah. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, please turn off your console and then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without and try playing any games and see if it loads properly.

Solution 3: Do a factory reset

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

    3. Select Reset console.

    4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
