xbox one x gold rush edition power problem/only turning on for 10 seconds

im am having the problem a lot of Xbox one x users seem to be having.

my xbox one x starts to turn (on for ten seconds) then shuts off intimately,ive tested the power supply with a multi meter and that seems fine.cant understand what is going on with it,seen another person talking of the same problem back in may .ive even
heard of the hdmi re timer causing this problem so i replaced that also with no luck still stuck with the same problem,anyone who might have any ideas or is experiencing the same problem feel free to leave a comment oon this post

Same issues with me and I am beyond heated since my warranty expired and they want 250 to "fix" it but i know damn well all im doing is paying for a replacement hence the sales tax. Microsoft yet again dropped the ball.

I just tried this and it does turn off/stay off. I just find it inconvenient that it doesn’t turn off when shutting down from home button or power on when using the home button. I didn’t have this issue with the previous Xbox One I had. I’m wondering if
it could be some bug with the Xbox One X Gold Rush Edition. Maybe BTommy purchased the same one?

Most problems Ive heard of are with the Scorpio Edition which includes the one I got and the second one I traded that one in for.Going to trade it back in again for just a regular One X.Im haveing issues with the power or the power cord.I can get it to turn
on but sometimes nothing will run.When I first plugged it in yesterday It wouldnt turn o n at all.Had to replug the power cord in several times.This happened with both Scorpio editions Ive had.If the regular One X works then maybe its a case of them rushing
out the Scorpio editions.I dont know.Ive looked these problems up online and they are all over the place for the scorpio edition.That being said I wouldnt be too worrried.If anything you will be able to replace it easily enough.

or perhaps your power supply is clogged and overheating...

Oh if i didnt have my Gold Rush Edition One X i would hands down get it. Looks amazing but.
