Xbox one x : games won't update nor will they install

First, power down your console fully and remove the power and network cables for at least 30 seconds. Plug the power cable back in and follow these steps:

Step 1: Hold down the Eject and Bind buttons on your console.

I do not have an external storage system but I do sometimes use one. The USB doesn't have anything on it tho. But I'll try the full reset if I can't figure anything else out. Thankyou very much for your time!

Will delete the content on the console only if you choose that option, progress on games are tied to the account so once you add the account back you will have all your games progress

Would doing this delete all of my progress on my account and make install everything back on my xbox?
