    Xbox One X games refusing to run multiplayer


    A few months ago, we purchased a Xbox one X as a replacement for our old Xbox One, which we still have, even if it's a bit tired. For a few months, the One X ran fine. Then, a few weeks ago, following an update, the One X started to crash games. They would
    start up just fine, you could load the save. Once you got into the game proper, however, attempting to run anything caused the game to crash to the desktop.

    Monster Hunter: World would let you get to the hub, and then crashed to the desktop. Overwatch lets you get to the menu and search for a game, but crashed as soon as it found a game. Fallout 4 and X-Com 2 crash as soon as the save game is loaded. Some games
    do work, such as Fortnite, Minecraft and Assassins Creed Origins. But the others just crash to the desktop with no error code.

    With no error code, we have no way of identifying the cause of the problem. We thought it was only multiplayer games, but Fallout doesn't work. We thought it was the update that caused the problems, but the old Xbox One, when it works, runs the games fine.
    (Up until it crashes completely, but it's quite old, so you have to gamble.) We don't know if it's a problem with the console or with the games.

    If anyone else has had this problem, can you please let me know how best to fix it, if it is actually possible. It's frustrating that I can't play any games I want to play, with no explanation. This is a new console, and shouldn't be having problems only
    a few months into its life.

    Xbox X stuttering/Lag

    Any one else having issues with their Xbox x on some multiplayer games? I have major stuttering/lag issues on WW11 and ESO. I have no issues with my internet and these games run fine when i switch to my Xbox one. Xbox X default? Or a problem with the HDR
    on these games?

    Erm........................You do realise that any game that runs on the Xbox One X also runs on the Xbox One S? And because of this, any game that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S.

    So basically, any game you find that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S

    Xbox One X requires nearly daily restarts

    My one x has performed unsatisfactory since purchase a full SHUTDOWN in the options has been mandatory or issues will occur one of the most frequent is the microphone will not work in multiplayer headset audio will continue to work but no voice support.
    Other issue include games not loading and apps refusing to launch but a full shut down corrects this. Very odd indeed.
