Xbox one X gamepass needs renewed.

Every time I go to launch skyrim special edition it tells me that I need to renew gamepass, but I have not had game pass since 2017 and the game was playing just fine until recently. I am really frustrated by it because I have already gone through all of the trouble shooting steps of doing a hard reset, restarting, testing connection, power cycling, and even restoring the system to factory settings and it continues to persist. And it honestly upsets me that I am unable to play a game I physically own a disc of because of a digital liscense that has no business interfering with it. I do hope that something can be done otherwise I am just going to have to give up on your products period. Because there is no point buying a system and games for it when I cant play them without having to jump through hoops and be bullied into purchasing game pass just to play them.

I understand you need assistance with your game disc The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. Just a friendly reminder, we need to have an active Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play the game since it is an online multiplayer game but if you don't wish to subscribe, you can try setting your console to offline and then try playing the game again.

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

2. Select Settings > General > Network settings.

3. Select Go offline.

Just purchased xbox series x with all access - if my current game pass subscritpion is automatically renewed each month - do i
need to turn off auto renewal or will it auto renew when the two years are up (you get 2 years of gamepass with all access).

If your gamepass is the ultimate you don't need it because they are two services in one, if it is the common one you need to renew Gold.

Tell us please, which Xbox do you have (360, One/S/X) what subscription did you renewed and what games are you looking for?

Gamepass games? Xbox One games given from gold? Purchased digital games?

I did that with Minecraft. If you try to launch it without the disc, it will say yoou need to renew Gamepass. Or If you tried to boot the game on disc and it asks you to renew Gamepass, then check the disc and try again.
