Xbox One X Game DVR Not Working Properly

For some unknown reason my Xbox *randomly* doesn't record what I actually recorded. What I mean is that the recording will only be a short 4-6 second clip of something that was not intended to be recorded. I have tried recording the same thing a couple of
times to see if one of them will capture, but all clips ending up the same 4-6 seconds. The most frustrating part of this is that I do not know when it is happening because sometimes it will record clips no problem at all. This has been an ongoing issue for
several months now and haven't been able to find anyone else with a similar issue.

*Console is up to date*

*I have reset my game, console and modem*

*Capture setting is always set to 30-45 seconds* **I have tried using them all and still had issues**

*Allow game captures by me is set* **Have also tried changing that**

*Storage is not the issue; I have about 300GB of free space on my internal hard drive*

*Internet should not be an issue as well (100mbps download speed)*

Curious, Do you have Instant on set? and/or whether you Full shutdown every now and then.

Reseting the console power supply works for me whenever there's a glitch, but as I get a lot of updates I tend to do that at least once a week.

In experiencing this as well and have been since December-ish.

EXPECTATION:

*Capture last 2 minutes*

2 minutes of footage, beginning 2 minutes ago, ending now is recorded. Capturing my awesome play on Modern Warfare.

REALITY:

*Capture last 2 minutes*

6 to 12 second clip of me running away from gunfire, reloading my gun, then hiding in a corner.

The worst part about this is that it is not consistent. Sometimes it is fine, sometimes it isnt. I just had it happen earlier where i captured the last 30 sec, got an alert saying it was captured. So i made sure it was, but i didnt see it anywhere. So i
captured the last 5 minutes. Got the alert, but that was no where to be seen either.

I got off work a few hours later and found the 30 second clip, capturing what i wanted, but NO SOUND.

i also found a 4:29 minute clip, but the moment i hit play, it buffers, finally starts playing, but fastforwards from beginning to end within 3 seconds of starting. I can play it fine in Upload Studio, but again, NO SOUND.

Whatever change they made a month or so back that modified the Captures/Video Playback functions needs to be reverted.

Since they did the last update on clips mine are kinda hit it miss. Hopefully they get it sorted.

May be a bug thats universal cause it was happening to me on the 15th had plenty of space but clips refused to work and i goy a really funny clip of my sea of theives boat going straight down in the water when i lagged but clips didmt work for that day
