Xbox One X game and update download issues

Hello anybody that can help me. So I recently upgraded to the Xbox one X and it won’t let me install certain games. “Madden, Fortnite, Sims 4 and most recently the newest Metal Gear” I’ve talked to Xbox support and they have been no help in helping fix this
issue. I’ve cleared my local saved games and hard reset my Xbox. I even wiped it and started over to still receive the same problems every time. So if anyone else’s knows how to fix this please let me know. These are a few of my favorite games and it stinks
that I can’t play them...help....PLEASE!! Lol

Xbox One X Stuttering Issues

I’ve had my Xbox One X for about 3 Days now and I am having major issues with my games stuttering and rubberbanding on multiplayer games. And before it gets asked, yes I have been soft resetting and clearing the cache, and yes, my internet is working just
fine. When I go back to my original Xbox one (from 2014) every game plays just fine with no issues. I’m wondering if it’s an issue with the update I had to download when initially setting up my One X.

Patches, what a pain for internet

Nothing is more annoying to me than inserting a new game disc to play on either PS4 or XBO and be greated with either an install time wait, or with GBs of patches after patches instead of starting the game right away.Click to expand...

That's a minor issue compared with tenths of games in several devices downloading new updates of several GB each. Today, as an example, PC updating War Thunder and State of Decay 2, Xbox one X updating No Man's Sky, Xbox one updating State of Decay 2, Steam updating DCS and WiiU updating itself.

What happens exactly when you try to install the games? Are these installing from disc? Are these digital downloads you are trying to install? If they are digital, were they purchased with the account you are trying to use? If they are digital, are they
already downloaded but won't install? What error messages are you receiving?

To say that we need more information from you would be an understatement!

They are all digital downloads that I’ve bought awhile ago. Right now I have 5 games that start downloading and stop at a certain percentage and will not continue. They were all downloaded on my account. The error message that I’m getting is 0x87e0000f.

Hi,

What game or games does this message pop for? Many Xbox One games have updates specifically for the Xbox X. If your Xbox One game has a 4K assets update for example, you'll be prompted to download this when using the drive on the Xbox One X console.

The Xbox One S and original Xbox One don't support X-enhancements, so you won't be prompted for that update when using the drive on the One S.

Please look at the
following link, it explains how to update games for Xbox One X enhancements, while still using a Xbox One S or original Xbox One.

I have the same issue. Quantum Break does not detect the I have an Xbox One X and does not download the Quantum Break "Enhanced" update. I am only able to download the 83.70 GB version of the game VS the 102.5 GB version of the game available for the Xbox
One X. Like you, I do not see the added menu video options to change the resolution. I see no way for me to force or manually download the "enhanced" update. I then decided to take things one step further by taking an external hard drive, hooking it up to
my Xbox One S, and selecting "Download 4K content" in the newly updated options menu. Once I did this, I was instantly able to download the new 102.5 GB version VS the 83.70 GB version that I downloaded earlier. However, once my download was complete and I
hooked my external hard drive into my Xbox One X, Quantum Break could still not detect that I had an Xbox One X. As I was still unable to select the added "Enhanced" video options in the on-screen menu. I am guessing that you have the same issue. For some
reason, Quantum Break doesn't detect that you have an Xbox One X. If Microsoft cannot resolve this issue, I will be getting a full refund for Quantum Break, as I only purchased it for the Xbox One X enhancement.

I have the same issue, first boot of Xbox one X, start the update, freezed at 1% of download!!!, it never booted up again.
