    Xbox One X Freezing up


    About a week ago my Xbox One X starting acting up, it will occasionally freeze up and not allow me to do anything at all, not even go to the home menu. After I’m forced to turn it off and back on it may work for a bit, but then it’s bavk to the same problem.
    Any ideas what may be causing this? Or how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

    Recently purchased 2 xbix consoles(about a month) both consoles within last 2 days while playing games freeze up such as D2 CoD WWII The division . any one w advice or similar issues ?

    Nothing but problems with my Xbox one x scorpio since day of release. Benn for repair no change still awful.

    Xbox One X Freezing up

    My One X just did the same thing, however it does not boot properly now either. The 4k chip animation and Xbox logo is laggy. Then the audio plays out of sync and it is stuck on the Xbox One logo....

    I would contact an official agent at:

    1-800-469-9269. They should be able to troubleshoot this problem.

    Xbox one x scorpio edition dead after 20 mins of play

    I have the same issue, first boot of Xbox one X, start the update, freezed at 1% of download!!!, it never booted up again.

    Thank you for reaching out to Xbox forums support. I'm sorry to hear about the freezing issue that you're experiencing with your console.

    If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
    reset     on your console by doing the following:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console. [Keep My games and Apps]
    Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter.
