    Xbox one X freezing issues


    I have a Project Scorpio edition and it keeps freezing while gaming, when I reboot it tells me there was a problem and to restart or troubleshoot. I have done several hard reboots and u plugged the machine. I have factory reset it several times also.
    It almost seems as if there is a bad HDD in it but I'm no tech. Would love some suggestions before this console goes in the local river! HELP!!

    Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.

    Same problem here. Sometimes is freezes and returns to the home screen, some times the xbox freezes. It is happening on a xbox one x.

    This makes playing not doable. I am returning to my ps4 pro to many issues on xbox one x. No replies from Microsoft. They offer me to send it back for repair, but i have already doen that and had to wait 3 weeks but They didnt solve the issue. Not going to
    send it back again. Never xbox for me again..

    Is there a error code displayed when you reboot?

    It may be a overheating issue. Check the ventilation holes on the sides of the console for dust accumulation and clean them. I use a vacuum cleaner while the console is off and disconnected from power to clean each and every hole of dust.
