Xbox one x freezes

since i brought the xbox one x console has frozen in the middle of a game and rebooted it self i spent to much money for this to be going on i need to know what seems the be the issue with this console and how it needs to be taken care of

Any changes? Been 14 days since you posted. I've been having the same issues these last couple days. I have it in a slot in my entertainment system. It has plenty of space both sides and a 120mm fan in the back sucking out all the hot air so the space
was pretty cool. The Xbox 1 x is plugged directly into a wall socket like microsoft suggested. I've reset the xbox multiple times, reinstalled games multiple times still crash in every xbox 1 x enhanced game I have. I've since moved it out of the slot
in my entertainment system and is now just on top of it. Hasn't crashed yet but it's only been 20 min. The air that comes out of that thing is, as measured, 57c, not bad but not great either. Ambient temp is 24c. This is while playing Halo 5 for the last
20 min. My son is on it so I can type this up. From the way it crashes, it looks like how it would crash when I have my graphics card turned up too high on my PC with not enough cooling. This is why I moved it. Not sure if yours is out in the open or enclosed
a little/a lot but this is just my experience. I'll report back if the crashing has stopped but some how I doubt it. Would probably do a lot of good if Microsoft, in their next firmware update, increase the fan speed curve a little more. I think it's a
bit too conservative right now.

 

Got the same problem, they did sended me a replacement already and that one also freezes so now they are sending me a third one.

 

Mine just did the same thing. Twice within an hour. Thats why I decided to come here to look and see if their was anyone else that had the problem.

 

Everyone says Xbox is designed to handle the heat but from my experience it's not. Some are better than others, but even then it won't last. Since $500 isn't really that big a deal to me, I opened mine up and stuck a fan next to it. Been playing for the
last 5 hours without a single hick up. I'm not suggesting you do this to yours but I'm waiting on a fan accelerator anyway which should solve the problem. Before this, it'll crash multiple times per hour. Sometimes a hard crash causing the Xbox to shut
down and you have to manually turn it back on. If I were you, I'd call MS, we need this to be something MS recognize as an issue.

 

Yup I'm getting freezes more and more often, Telling me my games have become corrupted. Even started redownloading a game I was actually playing. Its messed up.

 

I'm having the same problem. Trying to play COD WWII and it will freeze and give the corrupt save file. Start all over and if I do happen to get by that freeze point, it will just freeze again at a different point. I suppose a call is in order.
