XBOX one X freezes during gameplay. Posting again with updated info. Now happens with more...

Red Dead Redemption 2 and now the Division 2 keeps freezing randomly during gameplay. I've tried all of the troubleshooting available online, and on the xbox one x troubleshooting guide. I've deleted the
digital game and reinstalled. I created a new profile and started a fresh game with no save data after the fresh install. The xbox one x is up to date with updates. I am using a non 4K tv. I have scaled back the resolution to 720p. My other
xbox one games work fine. The game worked perfectly for 1 month before this freezing issue started happening. The console in not overheating. The xbox one console is only 3 months old. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have had several suggestions from the community, but so far nothing has fixed the issue. Addition steps taken:

1. Press the Xbox button on the console for 10-15 seconds. The console will shut down.

2. Unplug power supply from back of console

3. Wait for 5 minutes

4. Plug power supply back in and turn on console

Please try this instead

Try removing or deleting your account first

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Sign in.

Select Add & manage.

Select Add new.

Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

Reboot your console

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Under Account, select Restart console.

If it didn't work, you may follow and try this steps to reset your console without removing games and apps

On your controller

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Settings

All Settings

System

Console info & updates

Reset console

Keep Games and Apps.

I also changed to energy save mode.

I have done the reset console twice.

I created a new gamertag after reset console and started a new game with no save data loaded.

I changed the HDMI cable and port on TV.

****update, it is now happening on The division 2 as well. Must be a hardware issue.

Is there anything else that I can try?

Time to call Microsoft with a hardware issue? Does anyone have a contact number?
