XBOX ONE X - Frame drops in game

Hello the community,

Since many weeks, I have performance issues with my xbox one x.

It started when playing Monster Hunter World, after playing many hours, I have had a huge frame drops (below 10 fps) during about 5 seconds.

Now, I play The Elder Scrolls Online and when I run with my character with many players around me or PNJs, during fights, I have frame drops making the game sometimes unplayable.

I factory reseted my console and reinstall the game. Same problem and even worse.

Are the games that are having issues on your internal or external hard drive.

Can you see if it could possibly be a faulty HDD that maybe causing the issue.

Ive been experiencing serious frame rate drops (sub 10fps, sometimes resulting in freezing) whilst playing the division during normal light gameplay on my one x. when just running down a street it plummets, combat is practically impossible and often crashes
the game.

Tried hard reset and left it off for over an hour but the problem persists.

The console is clean and free of dust and any other blockages and is used in a well ventilated space.

I haven't received any error messages.

Please help!

The tests specified in your link aims to detect internet connection problems but my problems are fps issues and I know the difference between lag and RAM.

My connection is good :

Download speed : 10 Mbits/s

Upload speed : 0,75 Mbits/s

Latency : 37 ms

I didn't have problems before and I can ensure you the problem is FPS drops.

I play with a friend to the same games every days with the same console model and he ensures me that he doesn't encounter my problems with his XBOX ONE X.

To narrow this down further, do you notice any issues when you try streaming content through other online apps such as Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc.?

Also to make sure that enough power is getting to the console, is the console plugged directly into a wall outlet?

I don't have any problems with watching videos on Youtube, streamings on Twitch.

I tried the official Microsoft demo in 4K called "Insects" and no FPS drops.

I just reinstalled Monster Hunter World and now I am fixed : When logging into the game, even in the lobby, FPS drops are constantly present when turning the camera and running. And I hear a weird noise of the fan.

When I bought this game, I could play with no problems of fluidity.

To clarify, is the console plugged into a wall outlet directly? Want to make sure that the console is getting enough power.

Also, you mentioned a fan noise. Is the console properly
ventilated as well?

So the console is properly plugged directly into the wallet.

The console is installed in a compartment in a TV stand which is open in front and behind the console.

There is nothing on the sides of the console.

Just curious, do you currently have your games installed on an external storage device? If so, do you happen to notice these issues when you install them directly on the console instead?

Since the games that you're experiencing these issues on are online focused, have you had a chance to reach out to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to make sure that everything is up & running properly on their end?

My games are only installed on the original internal HDD of the console.

As I've said to you, my internet runs pretty well. Even if my internet connection has been limited, it cannot explain my frame rate issues on the lobby of Monster Hunter World when I play solo.

Sometimes, in this gameand even in the game Ark Survival Evolved, I could notice graphical artefacts.

For your information, my console is in After Sales Services and it just arrived today to the repair center.

I hope to be fixed soon and Microsoft will admit that some consoles have hardware problems.
