Xbox One X flickering screen

So I just recently bought an Xbox One X a few days ago, to upgrade from the original Xbox One. My tv began to flicker here and there, like a brief black screen while gaming. I messed with the video settings, tried multiple HDMI cables, set it for 10 bit,
allowed 50hz, 24hz, 4K, and HDR. All of which my tv does support. And yes I did activate the enhanced format for the HDMI 2.0 ports. The tv itself is a hisense tv (50h6c). When I switched the xbox to only 1080p the issue went away. Any advice on how I could
run it in 4k with no issues?

are you using the supplied cable or are you using a third party hdmi cable

If not hdmi 1.4 and gold plated you need to purchase one hdr takes a lot of bandwidth if you are using a hdmi splitter then you need to directly connect to the tv

The more a signal is split the less bandwidth you have

Xbox One X flickering Screen HDR

My brand new Xbox one x is flickering all the time. It started when playing Forza 7 but is now doing it on home screen and other HDR games. If I switch off the HDR it seems to stop. I’m using a Sony XBR-A1E that supports HDR 10.

Is anyone else having same issue? How do you fix it? Is this a software thing or do I need to swap out the Xbox?

I have the same problem.

But here on my Philips PUS 8601 it is like a graphical glitch or something like that.

It is not a flickering black screen, it is just for under a second a bright light with a blurred graphic.

I get this when I play Rocket League, F1 2017, Tropico 5... and even in PUBG.

I also tried several HDMI cables and a lot of different settings on my Xbox and TV.

And I have the same awareness that this problem does not occur when I turn my Xbox on 1080p.

I bought this console on release date. Some weeks ago I did not have this problem.

This is how it looks. It is captured in a video because you can see it for just under a second and it goes back to normal before a few minutes later it happens again...

You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago

The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
my problem.

If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

Hey, having the same problem here. Using Xbox One X. It was working fine for a year and recently started flickering. I have bought a new 4k tv and it's even worse. I bought a new high speed HDMI cable: new set of issues - complete black screen or it flickers
heavily. Went to test the XBOX on a 3rd tv and it flickers as well. I'd appreciate some help.

I’m having the same issue, but its on the Xbox One X, and its only with HDR. Screen will flicker on and off randomly. If i wait long enough screen will stay black, never come back. I had to disable HDR on the port, flicker goes away ( so does hdr). Everything
worked before the most recent update. Happens on every port, and only happens wjth my xbox. Thoughts?
