    Xbox one X flickering screen and weird screen tearing


    Hi I recently developed a problem with my 1x, the screen flickers , goes black and comes back on but eventually has weird screen tearing. I'm trying to determine what is causing it, at first i thought it was an update as my xbox had recently updated ( i
    was in alpha ring ) i removed myself from this to update my xbox to last public release hoping this would fix it, but it hasn't. My question is how do i know whether it's my hdmi port or retimer thats the problem. I have tried changing hdmi cables, changing
    port into tv, changing settings on my xbox to lower quality just to try and sort this out. Recently i also tried streaming to my pc from my xbox and noticed that the screen flickering and tearing doesn't appear on that. Any help would be appreciated.

    You may want to try a connect to another TV and see if you have the same issues.

    Did you have the same issue or worked good?
    I had the same issue on another tv. But yesterday i tried streaming to my pc from the xbox and the screen flickering( twice in 4 hrs of play) and tearing ( had disappeared ) so i am trying to determine whether it's the retimer or the hdmi port itself thats
    the problem.
