Xbox One X flickering in 4k and no hdr

The problem started in February 2018, i have the console from the beginning. I tried 3 different cables. I bought another 4k hdr tv (now i have an lg and a samsung).

I cant change the console because im from argentina...

What should i do???

Xbox One X Display Settings related to potential bandwidth limitations.

There's no official support documentation specifically about the Xbox One X yet.

However, I'd imagine it will at least have the same support for 4K+HDR carried over from the Xbox One S, the specifications and troubleshooting of which can be found below.

No 4K without HDR (xbox one x)

you need hdr for 4k output

I don't think you fully understand

Uhd and hdr are required for 4k output

Unless you have an xbox one s not a x

You can't play in 4k

4k is only for.movies or streaming sources which require both uhd and hdr

But.xbox.one x will do 4k gaming

If you haven't already I would recommend trying a
Soft Factory Reset to restore the operating system and settings to factory defaults, and make sure you are not plugged into a surge protector as that has been known to corrupt the power supply unit and affect the video quality.

If you try that and it doesn't work, I would recommend you contact
Xbox Support to get connected to a support agent in your region and go over warranty details and repair options with you.

What does the setup for your 4K gaming consist of?

Example, is the HDMI directly connected with the TV being used, or is there a receiver in the mix?

In some cases, there might need to be a change in the Hertz (Hz) on those devices.

Most of the time the console will run 4K at 60 Hz, while the monitor/TV runs at 120 Hz where there would need to be some scaling down.

Here at this Reddit discussion, one user determines how they were able to get 120 Hz running.

Take a look into your TV's 4K settings, or get in touch with the group that made the device.

on the games, do you can enable HDR?

 

The console is conected directly to the tv. both tvs that i try are 4k 60hz. The interpolation to 120hz is disable in both tvs

 

No. I can play with the flickering in 4k. But when i activate the hdr in the ports of both tvs i dont receive signal from the console

Ok so from your display settings, select Advanced settings and make sure you check off everything you can. You should be enabled to select what your TV is capable of supporting, so 4K and HDR should be enabled for sure. Also make sure the refresh rate is
set to 60Hz.

For testing purposes you can toggle the settings so that they are disabled. Hard reset and

powercycle the Xbox and then enable those advanced video settings again.

Already tried everything. Its weird because i used the console for 2 months with hdr. And one day its stop working

 

I see. At any time did you ever plug in the Xbox into a surge protector or has it always been plugged into the wall? Also by any chance would you happen to be in the Insider Program?

 

Yes, when the problem start i try with a source protector and it was the same. No inseder program .just stock
