    Xbox One X flicker HDR


    Since the last system update, my xbox one x is unable to keep a stable HDR display. Any game that plays in HDR will flicker between game display, and black screen. When screen flickers, TV indicates HDR is being displayed. Problem is resolved by disabling
    HDR on the port. Changes to the Xbox settings do not resolve the issue. Issue has been recreated on other ports. Issue is not present in other HDR display devices. I have swapped hdmi cables issue still present. Xbox is not able to display a stable HDR picture.

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    I’m having the same issue, but its on the Xbox One X, and its only with HDR. Screen will flicker on and off randomly. If i wait long enough screen will stay black, never come back. I had to disable HDR on the port, flicker goes away ( so does hdr). Everything
    worked before the most recent update. Happens on every port, and only happens wjth my xbox. Thoughts?

    You may want to try a soft reset of the console. To do that just go to settings, All settings, System, Console info, Reset keeping games and app.

    I had already hard reset before, the difference being unplug while powered down from holding the button. I just played 30 in HDR without a flicker. I think you may have solved my issue,
