    Xbox one x flashing power light


    I have an xbox one x, recently when i turn it on from the controller, it takes a while to come on, it does the start up chime and the shut down chime straight after, the power light blinks on and off and eventually the welcome screen comes on but there
    is no sound, i hold the power button down until it goes off again and then turn it straight back on and it works fine. Tried to contact xbox support but can’t get hold of anyone there, Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

    You mentioned trying another power brick, so I'm assuming you are referring to an original Xbox One model (not the Xbox One S or X)

    Then what happens with the light on the power brick when you try to turn the console on? Is it on, off, or flashing orange?

    The white lights on the XBOX and the power supply come on for a few seconds, then go out.
