    Xbox One-X Fail


    Has anyone else run into the problem where their xbox one X will give all green check boxes when they auto detect display settings, but it still will not display in 4K? Extremely disappointed in the $500 upgrade for this resolution that doesn’t actually
    work.

    Xbox One X WiFi fail

    WiFi has stopped working. Was fine two days ago and all my other devices have a perfect connection. The Xbox One X can’t see any networks at all. It’s also very warm around the back of it, don’t know if that’s normal or not?

    Any suggestions? Had the console less than a month, not very impressed...

    Hi Duffmyster,

    If you have all check boxes for the HDR / 4K you should be good to go. Why do you think that you're not receiving 4K resolution? Do you have Netflix or something, where you can see if there is a 4K category, or see if HDR / 4K is listed under something like
    Defenders?

    I click 4k resolution and the screen goes black for a few seconds and then I get a message saying that something went wrong. None of the “support” answers help. The Xbox gives me checkmarks across the board and acts like it should work.

    Yep, found one of those articles last night followed all the steps and all of the “required settings” were already turned on... :-/

    Same issue here. Problem on my end seems to be with the passthrough on my receiver. If I hook it up directly to the tv it works fine but it wont work when connected to my Yamaha receiver. All other 4k HDR devices I have work just fine connected to the receiver
    including 4k blur rays on the xbox one S.

    My onkyo receiver is not HDR, so when I pass through it I only get some of the checkmarks for compadability. When I connect directly to the TV I get all of the green checks, but nothing either way.

    Do you have the console connected through HDMI port #1?

    I believe on the M Series, 4K is only supported through that port. Ports 2-4 do not support 4K.

    HDR also needs to be enabled from the TV's settings.

    I have an Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, working without problems from the first day, No issue, no noise, no network fails, no hdd fail, I don't know if I'm lucky.
