xbox one x external storage not fast enough

Xbox Series X games can only be installed on the console's internal storage. External hard drives are not fast enough for those games.

So I have an Xbox one x and after many years of working well on its own I need to include some extra storage on it to play a few more games. I bought a 2 tb 3.0 flash drive and plugged it in to my Xbox. When I went to storage to make sure it was
formatted correctly and all that, I get a pop up thing telling my that the device it too slow. Seeing as I bought the drive to make sure it was above the requirements, I know that isnt true. What do I need to do to either the flash drive or my Xbox so that
I can download more games onto the system?

You shouldve bought a ssd or a mechanical 2tb drive it wouldve been cheaper

Therr is only one 2 tb drive thats flash compatible and it aint small

And its over a grand and NOT RELEASED YET

And fyi SLOW read and write times and only like small cost like 50 bucks is most likely a fake

You can get apps that test resd write speeds to see if yours is real or not

And yes third party noname brand flash drives can be faked even on amazon.com

The sign of fakes is slow write speeds

One app that is a must for sd and flash drives is crystal flash

It tests your flash read and write and ignores the efi and MBR
