    Xbox one x external Hard drive for media issue


    I have 2 drives plugged into my xbox one for tv and another for movies and other for tv the tv one is great no issues but the other while my xbox reads it as a media disk without me picking that it also shows the right size of space that should be left
    my files cannot be found it just says nothing to find here

    Hi, I have the very same issue whereby my xbox one s & x does not detect external hard drives for media, even after been formatted on pc. All troubleshooting steps were followed and still not resolved. These were brand new hard drives out the box but my older hard drives works perfectly fine, was something changed via an update by Microsoft or what?

    So just tried another disk same result it finds it as a media disk if you open it in vlc player and media player it finds the videos folder but nothing else its in the right format same as the one that is working but no luck
