XBOX ONE X ERROR E200 AND NOW E100

I have been on to tech support, and it keeps hanging up after about 2 mins.

I have tried to explain that doing the "mandatory update" I received the error code E200. I then tried to factory reset my Xbox it come up with "something went wrong".

I then followed the online Microsoft instruction and downloaded the OSU1 put on a memory pen. It gets to process 3 of 3 the Xbox shuts down and comes up with "something went wrong error E100 0000070d 80070002" I have tried several times and I get the same problem.

I have tried to get through to tech support, 2 phone calls answered but after a few minutes the call hangs up. The 3rd call I heard someone say "Hi" and again the phone hung up.

One of the tech support person said it is out of warranty by a few months and there was nothing they would do.

I find this hard to take as, being told it was a mandatory update by Microsoft, and as for my Xbox hasn't left the shelf it is sat on, I do not feel this is my fault to pay to have fixed.

I had already purchased the Xbox series X and the one x was going to go to my kid to get them in to gaming. It feels a little like they're bricking the Xbox ones to get us to buy the series S|X.

Ricardo are you paid by Microsoft to be on here or do you do this out of the kindness of your heart?

Thorw away a perfecty working xbox because of an update! If we all did that this plannet would be [mod removed]

Quite shocked that to repair my xbox because an update killed it is: £211.62

A New Xbox series S £249.99

This is absurd!

Not what I'm suggesting, you actually would need to send the console to get the replacement, that console will be recycled, so its not throwing away the console

This error usually happens for troubles with the system, I would try factory reset deleting all console content, and then use the osu update, be sure that you are using the OSU file that matches your console

If this does not work, I understand that it seems you have an update problem, it is actually a hard drive error

And the question arises, Why it appears during the update? My console worked before

The hard disk is divided into sectors, each sector remains with the information that is recorded in it until a change is required in it, sometimes a damaged sector appears on the disk, this may not cause any problem for months, but the time comes when it is required to use it for an important file, in this case an update of the operating system, since the information of that sector cannot be overwritten, the error you present at this time appears

How do I go about sending it to Micorsoft to get a replacement?

I have been trying for a month to get through to Microsoft about this.

I do use edge btw. But still can not get anyone (from Microsoft) to help.
