    Xbox One X Enhanced Games?


    Hi all

    I am considering buying an Xbox One X around Christmas, but was wondering if this means I need to buy special Xbox One X games or are all games currently for Xbox One compatible?

    Some games which have been released for Xbox One seem to be getting enhanced with 4k and HDR (e.g. Tomb Raider). Does this mean that if I buy e.g Tomb Raider now I will receive an enhancement patch later for free? Or do I need to buy a new version?

    the One X is compatible with all One games. Any games that are enhanced will have patch.

    When you play a game that has X enhancements it will download the X stuff automatically. (its ALL FREE)

    This isnt a feature you can turn off, so if you play an X game with enhancements it will be on no matter what.

    Now if you know you going to get a X, you can go into the settings on a OG or S and pre download the enhanced version, so when you copy them to the X you will have the full experience immediately.

    Download 4K game content first

    As it clearly states in the store "Xbox One X Enhanced", not Xbox One S.
