    Xbox One X ejecting issues

In the last couple of days, since Friday, 01FEB19, my XB1X will not stop ejecting. Does not matter if there is a disc in the drive or not. When there is no disc, the beeping is incredibly annoying at worst. When there is a disc, the system is unusable.
I cannot play any games on disc. I cannot watch any of my BR and UHD movies. I've had to unplug my system to keep the eject button from starting my system every time I turn it off. I've searched for solutions online and found very few. The ones I found, I
tried and they did not solve the issue. The last option I have found is to dismantle the system and see if I can solve the problem internally, but I'm not keen on taking apart my system. Are there any options left other than disassembly? I'd really like to
    not go that route.

    :)

    Hi

This may seem like a silly suggestion but can you please try pressing the eject button on the front of the console a couple of times to make sure the button is stuck/sticking.

Your assessment of my situation is correct. The system keeps acting as though the eject button is being pressed when it is not. I do not want to take my system apart. My large hands are great for structural fabrication, but lack the finesse for small electronic
components. I would like to 3xhaust all other potential solutions before I have to go through the process of having my console shipped for services.

I have tried this multiple times. This is the most common fix I was able to find. It did not work.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.
