Xbox One X eject sound

    Xbox One X eject sound


    My console will just make the eject sound. Sometimes its only once or twice and then it will stop, sometimes it will just beep constantly for 30 seconds. This happens all day long, and doesn't matter what I am doing. Playing a game, watching Netflix, watching
    youtube, even if the console is turned off (though still plugged in). The only suggestion I found was the hard reset and I've done that a few times and it makes no difference. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix?

    I appreciate the response and unfortunately neither of those fixed the issue. I was just playing Rocket League with a disc in the drive for a different game I was installing over night and in the middle of game of Rocket League it just launched the other
    game. I now thing the issue is with the disc drive itself.

    Hey,

    it could just be a problem with the button itself, could be sticking or is stuck, have you tried to clean it incase something has slipped into the gaps on the outside of the button and and is causing it to think its being pressed?

    other than that maybe try an offline update incase its a software thing.

    They are the only two things i can think of apart from trying the service centre thing and requesting a repair

    Nope, the drive is perfectly capable of ejecting. When inserting a disc in good condition, and the Xbox is capable of reading it, i can use the X button to eject it. But the eject button on the console doesn't do anything. Also this is an Xbox one S
