Xbox one X e105 startup error

I've bought an Xbox one X after a few months from it's release,

at first everything seemed to be fine, it was just about a year when I started

experiencing different issues with it, just towards the warranty void.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's on

purpose or anything but since then it was a total nightmare!

I had many problems with this console not turning on,

throwing me different errors (mostly startup errors like e105, e102 etc.)

which no troubleshooting manged to completely resolve,

in some cases I had to just let it rest for some time in order for it to work

(sometimes a few days),

in other cases it was just throwing an error after an error of different sorts until there was

just nothing I could do but to restore to factory defaults,

which was fixing it for some time, but unfortunately those issue s we're always coming back.

Those issues weren't the only thing that was

haunting me, there was also this thing where the downloads were failing

(most of the times it was more than once per download and to get it back and going I had to at least restart the console),

also there was this thing where cloud saves were failing which led to constant loss of progress in many games

(sometimes even to total loss!).

Eventually after a few years of frustration I've

decided to try and change the hard drive since it seemed to be the only logical solution,

at least that's what I thought.

Unfortunately even now with an ssd instead of a hard drive I'm still running in to the same exact issues.

Now one thing I did learn from it, Is that if you have the Constant-on feature enabled,

you're more likely encounter those problems at a higher rate, because it's not exactly what you'd think it is,

this feature, it literally keeps your console always on

which you can actually hear and feel if you come closet to it when the console is turned off.

At the moment I realized that my console was literally working for a few years

staraight with no rest at all (not considering the times when it was crashing or wouldn't startup)

I turned it off which seemed like kind of a pathetic solution you'd think, but to my surprise

it actually helped me reduce my encounters with those issues.

Now I don't know if there is any type of actual solution to those things,

but I do think now that an upgrade to an ssd was not actually required.

I don't actually know why I'm opening this thread (a bit too late for that I guess)

but I do hope that it might help some of you to resolve some of those issues.

Disclaimer: I'm in no way some tech guru!

this thread is based on my own and only my own experience with this specific console!

but it definitely wont harm you or your console in anyway if you turn the Instant-on feature off.
