So recently i upgraded from my day one xbox to the xbox one x, what can i say.. worst decision i have made so far.

So this past week i have had a lot of issues with the xbox crashing, failing the start up and keep throwing up random codes. I have factory restored the xbox 3 times now and i have finally had enough of having to keep trying that. The first time, it worked
for all of 24 hours before having to restore it all again. Not forgetting i had to re-download the games i wanted to play.

I thought it was sorted after restarting and it working for close to 48 hours today.. well half way through the day the xbox then crashes, boots me off of the xbox and shuts it down. On restart it then starts throwing up the ERROR CODES once again. all you
seem to get from xbox/microsoft is restart, restore or leave the xbox off for 30 minutes etc.. well none of the above has clearly worked.

The xbox was new just before christmas, so not even half a year old.

I hope by posting this i can have some actual useful information from others who have suffered from this rather than the same stuff microsoft claims to fix it but doesnt! Thanks!

    :)

    Hi,

First off, I'm sorry you're having issues with your console, and I can understand how frustrating this can be for you as your console is less than a year old.

Unfortunately, if you've already tried all the troubleshooting guides on the support site and you've had no luck, your going to have to send your console off to Microsoft for a repair. But, since your console is less than 12 months old, you won't have to
pay. The repair will be free.

The E102 error relates to an issue with the system update and the E105 error relates to issue with the Xbox One system software. The likely reason for this is a fault with either the console hard drive or the motherboard, neither of which you can fix yourself.

These Xbox consoles may look like simple gaming machines, but inside they very similar to PC and laptop hardware, pretty complex stuff actually. Occasionally some machines come off the production line with hardware faults that don't manifest themselves
until later on. It's not a known issue with the Xbox One X hardware. You've just been unlucky here.

You can set up your console for a repair online
    here.
If thats the case and you’re sending xbox one x’s off to the retail market with fatal errors it should be covered for repair with or without warranty. Ive had the same issues as many people and its interesting that so many of them are happening around the
same time.. maybe you guys screwed up the last update and its causing all these crashes in consoles. I can get mine to reboot to factory setting and back to “normal” for about 2hours max before it boots me back to the “something went wrong page” and i have
to start the sometimes 24 hr+ process of getting it back to “normal” and even when its back to that state no game will download nothing works just the menus so i basically have a $500 paper weight. Maybe Stadia might be the way to go if microsoft is willing
to send out fatally flawed consoles to the market after this long in the game i believed microsoft was better than that.

    Hi CLAPPED,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. As our Ambassadors have recommended, if you've tried all troubleshooting possible to take care of the "E" type start up errors you're receiving, and are still under warranty, it would be worthwhile
    to
set up a repair for the console
    .

Another factor that may come into play is the possibility that you're enrolled in the Xbox Insider's Preview Program. If you are, then all traditional troubleshooting would not be effective. It would be best to

report this issue via the Insider's Hub app (you can even do so from your PC if you can't reach it via your console)
even if you are not enrolled as that information goes straight to the engineers and can really help out. If you do happen to be enrolled
in the program, it is also highly advised to report the issue via the
    Xbox Insider's subreddit
as well so that they can help you more directly.

I hope this information helps a bit more and please let us know the results.

I have tried everything possible which is said to do so via xbox on web. Looks like i need to get in contact with xbox themselves.

You can try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.

However, with everything you have tried you will probably have to set it up for a repair. It should still be under warranty. You should contact
Xbox Support directly should you need to have it repaired.
