    Xbox One X DRM

Has anyone proposed the question to Microsoft about Xbox One X and a separate Xbox One DRM for games; being able to share the DRM with two separate consoles simultaneously? Given I have moved to almost strictly digital only library this is a significant
factor when purchasing games, if I am unable to share the DRM between consoles simultaneously.

Example: I have a Xbox One, and an Xbox One X. I want to be able to play games under my user ID, while allowing my children in the other room to sign in and play games or even watch purchased movies. If I get them a new ID they will not be able to play the games
I purchased. If I log into the Xbox One the kids are playing games on, I wouldn't be able to play games under my user ID on an Xbox One X.

I believe the original idea of the Xbox One needs to come back to the front of the conversation, or a min of being able to manually enter the Mac address of two different machines to share the DRM between them.

    Thoughts?

    :)

Xbox One DRM update- Is ANYONE else mad about this?

The DRM was a bad thing. If the DRM was such a good thing. Then why was the PS4 out pre ordering the Xbox one?

Now that the BS DRM is lifted. I might get a X-Bone in the future. Not right away but when the price comes down some Ill probably get one.

There is no way to justfy the DRM as a good thing. If MS left the DRM in place the X-Bone would of FAILED. Its something people defending the DRM dont understand.

You can already share a game simultaneously on two separate consoles. Set your children's console as your account's Home Xbox and they can access your games. You can always access your games on any console as long as your gamertag is signed into Xbox Live
    on that console.

What AmuricanPatriot wrote is correct. If you go to the settings of the console your kids are supposed to play on, sign in with your own account, and in the settings under "Personalization" set the console as your Home Console.

That way your kids can play your games without your account being signed in.

Everyone playing on your "Home Console" also benefits from your Gold membership, as the Home Console also allows everyone to play online multiplayer as if they had a Gold membership as well.

You can read about the Home Console feature here: https://support.xbox.com/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

So this function is exactly that what you need: Your Home Console allows everyone else to play your games on that console, while you can go to a different console and unlock your games simply by being online with your own account that owns the games.

So your kids can even play multiplayer together with you, for example in Halo, as the Home Console will unlock the digital copy of Halo for your kids, and you can play your Halo version unlocked by your account.
