    XBox One X Drive Problem


    Hello,

    I have a Problem concerning the disk drive in my Xbox One X. Some Discs the drive cannot read (Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2, Call of Cthulu. But some disks can be read without any Problem (Halo, Fallout 76, Mafia III). And: I cleaned all Discs and
    they don´t have any scratches on the Surface.

    Perhaps somebody can help, or do I have to send in the Xbox One X?

    Hi, I had the exact same problem and it occurred on my xbox one and Xbox series x, it was in a external hard drive on my series x so I unistalled everything and reinstalled just the base game onto the internal hard drive then the zombies chronicles and it fixed the problem

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with your Xbox One X playing certain discs. Do you have the same issue when trying to play DVD's or Blu-rays? Would you be able to try the discs on a
    different console maybe a friends or family members console. Let us know a few more details to be able to determine how to best assist you.

    Hey there Archangel!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to play your disc games.

    Now, if you have already tried all those troubleshooting steps right down to the factory reset, and you're still experiencing problems, then I would suggest considering a repair of your console. There might be a hardware issue causing these symptoms.

    Device Support    , or by contacting
    customer support     and having an agent help you with the process.
